It sounds like you are the owner of a Monday or Friday truck like me. I didn't replace the rockers on mine but during the body work phase I noticed how my passenger side rocker fit well at the back but at the front the bottom is pulled in about 3/16" and there wasn't any way to get the fender to line up. Part of the reason I'm sure I have a Monday or a Friday truck. I thought about cutting it apart but decided to wait as the rockers are still pretty good, but the demon never sleeps so the day will come when it will have to get fixed.
