Dirty Dingo Motor Mounts

Hey Y'all, I have been searching around and confused myself. Heard good things about dirty dingo slide mounts , and uncle's as them on his squarebody. So do the dirty dingo go onto the normal motor mount to "convert" them to LS?

And then put the dirty dingo sliders on top?

If so, which dirty dingo slider works? The main 135 dollar ones or the aluminum conversion ones?

Sorry for the dumbish question, looking around at motor mounts and everything has confused me. Thanks in advance.

I don’t have DD LS sliders( wish I did tho)

You can use your stock perches, then the $134 sliders and the stock SBC mounts.

I used these on my swap along with the original towers and rubber mounts. Everything dropped in and bolted right up.

Guess I'm confused on what their coversion plates are for? Or are they the same as the sliders just don't slide?

Are those CPP ones the same as stock ones? And come with the rubber mounts. If they are, can't imagine some new bolts and perches would hurt.

Correct, the plates are the same adapter, they just don't have the slide adjustment as the others.

Y see no reason to use those CPP engine mount brackets unless you just have $160 burning a hole in your pocket. Your original brackets will work just fine with a set of new motor mounts. If you want a better engine mount, just upgrade to the '73-'87 C20/30 brackets and clamshell mounts.

And I think these will work equally as well as the DD aluminum plates.
