It probably is. I was told by Texas Motorsports that it was their exclusive item, but it wouldn't surprise me if they lied about it, since they lied about everything else

Dont they share office space with Dewey, Cheatum and Howe? Maybe that was the old firm before Cheatum left......

Yeah, I was afraid of that. I have found a couple on the net for sale though. Have you ever seen one cleaned up? I'm just wondering if you can get all the ugly off of them?

I figured you were looking for a spare since they flow better. I've never seen one cleaned up I do know this one is dirty as a mofo and the plastic is red.

Red? Whats up with that? I have never seen a red 6.0 intake. I thought that was Z06 stuff? Maybe you have one of those rare Z06 high rise intakes.... :p

I have been considering running a 6.0 intake from the beginning. I was actually looking for a 6.0 motor when I bought my LS1, but couldn't find one. At the time, I had no idea that it flowed better than a LS1/LS6 intake, but I had a feeling it might create better torque because of the longer runners.

After doing some research, I found out my assumptions were correct. According to the latest Chevy High Performance mag, it flows as good as anything "except the LSX" which is a pretty expensive intake.

The real reason I want one is because it's much taller. The LS1 looks squished in our truck. I tried to raise mine when I put it in, and it helped some. The 6.0 intake would help a lot more...

Hey if it's a Z06 intake that'll be fine with me. I'll go take a pic of it today and try and get a part# so I can confirm what it's from.

If it's low and flat like an LS1 intake, but it's red, then it's probably a Z06. If it's tall black and has bumps all over it, then it's a 6.0. Yeah, you better get some pics....
