newbie question

Hullo Everyone,
I need help with my heavy duty center support bearing on my 65 1/2 ton longbed fleetside. I took it off some time ago ( because the bearing froze up and started smoking the rubber cushion ) and forgot how it came apart. The new one I got from the parts store has a 1/4" thick spacer?. Where does this go ? Does it go on before the bearing or after?
I'm glad I found this site. It looks like there's allot of info here. I'm looking forward to exchanging ideas and info.
Oh yea, one other question. How many ohms does the factory fuel sending unit have. Thanx in advance.

Hi Steve
Welcome from California.
This link should help you with the sending unit.

I can't find nothing on the driveshaft carrier bearing, but someone on this board might know how it goes together.
Where you from in Ca?
David

Center bearing

Steve,
I'll be pulling mine off as the spot welds holding the mounting plate on it broke away from the rest of it. The bearing looks brand new too...odd. I assume someone was romping on the truck a little too hard. Or maybe it just wasn't welded well to begin with. Anyway, I need to take it off so I can weld it back up. I'll try to get that done tomorrow and when I take mine apart I'll let you know how it goes together. -Noah
