69 Blazer Cab Rear Floor Crossmember
I'm in the process of having my blazer tub redone and i'm just trying to make sure I have all the right parts. On Classic heartbeats website there is a part listed as "69-72 Blazer / Jimmy Cab Rear Floor Crossmember"
Is this a unique piece to the blazer/jimmy cab floor pan? Does anyone have a photo of where it goes. I am not 100% certain if I have this piece or not. thanks.

Re: 69 Blazer Cab Rear Floor Crossmember
That has got to be a listing error, because it's is actually the truck cab floor rear crossmember with rear cab supports that is located at the rear of truck cab under the in cab gas tank section of floor. The Blazer does not use a rear crossmember and the rear cab supports for the Blazer are completely different than the truck.

Re: 69 Blazer Cab Rear Floor Crossmember
Yes step up plate besides connecting the cab to bed floor helps reinforce the middle section because it connects directly to the portion of the bed floor front crossmember. Towards the outer edge of the rear section of the floor the rocker box, rocker box end cap, rocker box reinforcement plates & Blazer rear floor supports under the Blazer floor help do this also as does the B-Pillar inside the front leading edge of the Blazer bed side. All those parts integrated together reinforce the Blazer cab floor. Front front to rear and side to side.
