Panhard Rod....
Ok Guys, Money willing I am going to bolting on a front disk brake kit w/ 2 1/2 in drop spindles w/ a 1 inch lower coil spring up front and 4 inch drop coils in rear, question is, do I need a different panhard rod or an adjustable one? or does the stock one work fine?

I did the same thing 2 years ago and used the stock one. Haven't noticed any problems but have always wondered if I should have done someting for the hieght differance.

You probably could use an adjustable track bar to get the axle re-centered. Early Classic Enterprises has 'em along with some really cool rear shock mount brackets. They make the shocks stand up more vertically, which means the shocks travel more and do their job better. I always had a little bounce in the rear of my truck, even with new shocks, until I installed the brackets. All the stuff above is very well made and powder-coated.

If you stuff big tires in ther, you may well have a problem.

I did the same thing on my '67 except I used 2 inch dropped spring in the front. I also used the stock bar and haven't noticed any alignment problems, and it doesn't look off-center. The only problem I have is the back needs to be lower!

I've installed ECE 4" drop rear springs and the stock panhard bar is just slightly above horizontal at frame end. The frame is almost perfectly centered this way. I am not an engineer though I have studied some of this stuff. If you consider the arc the bar will go through encountering bumps it is going to move the frame side to side a little. It seems to me it will move less when the bar is nearly horizontal. If your rear axle moves 4" or so the sideway movement of the frame can not be much. So IMO if your bar is in a similar position to mine you will not have to get an adjustable one. (I like to add this disclaimer - this opnion is worth just what it cost)
