Classic Trucks: Week to Wicked - 1972 Chevy C-10
Got a promotional email from CPP today promoting their products: suspension, brakes, steering, etc. The email contained a video of them bolting up these parts on an already restored 72 C10 SWB... Worth a look methinks... Maybe be a second video coming out soon as this one isn't complete.

I'm turned off by the Weak to Wicked thing straight off the bat. No thanks. These trucks were born wicked decades before CPP started selling crappy parts.

It is a platform for them to do their thing, which is promote. LMC is involved as well with their own markets to reach and new endeavors to introduce which are outside of their core business.
I thought it was relevant to the group. Thanks, -klb

I appreciate it. I have a bunch of those crappy parts on my truck.

I think they sell a little blue pill for that. Besides, If a fella only can get a hold of a clapped out 250 I6 3OTT, and wants a truck that actually handles, stops and has plenty of reliable power they can address that. Someone needing another juice box?

Damn, I wish it was only going to take me a Week to make my truck Wicked.... I think it's going to take me a lot longer than that...

Re: Classic Trucks: Week to Wicked - 1972 Chevy C-10
Holy cow, did I make a mistake? I'm sure glad there are people standing ready to pounce. What color pill do you forget to take? I too it as a business putting originally equipped trucks as "weak" (one letter off) for the sake of promoting their products. I'm not a TV watcher and surely not a fool for promotional myths. I stand corrected on my misreading of a word that caused my mistaken post... sorry. Now it's time for some to deal with their false belief these 6 cyl/3spd trucks don't handle, stop, or have enough power in stock form. Seems silly to base opinion on 50 year old worn out components. Talk to a person with a restored stock truck for an accurate assessment.
Back to the thread topic. Enjoy the show.
