WTB Chrome NP203 Shifter and Knob

My 70 Blazer came with a TH350 and NP203, but was missing the shifter and knob.

I would like to buy a shifter, knob, and hardware. Please provide a price shipped to 75002.

Thank you,

Wes

Re: WTB Chrome NP203 Shifter and Knob

I have one but not w/ the correct knob. The shifter is riveted to big bracket. The chrome on one side has a bit of rust but should clean up ok. I'm in Grapevine by DFW so finding a box it'll go into and shipping is probably more trouble than it's worth. Here's a random search...

Note that there's only one shift lever in the 1398 pic, so hopefully yours are still on the TC. I mean the bit at the lower right. I'd expect 2 of them.

Not to hijack this thread but quick question- Did these ever come with a 203? I thought they all came with 205s?

I'm not sure, maybe someone else can chime in.

Ours came with a NP203 that I mated to a 700R4 using an output shaft from advance adapters.

Re: WTB Chrome NP203 Shifter and Knob

Only the 205. The 203 came out in 73 and those years can have the 205 as well. It’s a different shifter in the 203. The 203 is bigger and heavier than the 205 and was designed to be full time 4wd with no hubs. It’s also weaker. Search online and you will see pictures of each. If money isn’t an issue I would ditch the 203 and go back to the 205. Those 203s break chains easily.
