xj steering shaft swap
Will the 87-95 jeep xj steering shafts swap to a 71 k10? What is the spline count/diameter, I'm showing a 13/16th 31 spine at my steering gear. Has anyone done this to a k10, is there a difference. Thanks in advance for any help before I head to the pick and pull.

Re: xj steering shaft swap
It will not work. The diameter is about 23/32'' and the spline count is 36

Re: xj steering shaft swap
The splined end will fit our steering boxes...I have one and have test fit it. The problem is that the other end of the XJ shaft is a DD, and the steering columns on our trucks are splined, so it will not connect without an adapter of some sort.
