Build Sheet question....

I had never though about looking for a build sheet for my '70 survivor Jimmy, but the other day I met a fellow car enthusiast who mention that the build sheet may be under the carpet or maybe on top of the gas tank...… Has anybody had luck finding one in any location on a Jimmy or Blazer?
Thanks in advance!!!

Re: Build Sheet question....

Never found one myself - usually under the springs in the seat though.

Can you put your cell phone on a timer and then slide it under the seats facing up (toward the bottom of the seat) to see if it is visible without removing them?

Re: Build Sheet question....

There has been a thread on this in the past and to date I don't recall anyone finding one in a jimmy/k5. I suppose I should look in my jimmy as I got it from original owners grand daughter and besides a repaint in the 1980's the interior is untouched.

Re: Build Sheet question....

They aren't even present on Chevy's. Blazers / Jimmy's = no build sheets

Cool Re: Build Sheet question....

Hello, i'm curious if anyone knows if the Jimmy's ever came with a factory BB. I have what "appears" to be a 396 with factory A/C, dual batteries, throttle control knob, tilt column? It's a 72. Pretty clean, haven't found any rust in the rockers or floor. Just the front body mounts. In the research i've done i haven't seen a big block option so i'm assuming someone put it in but was defiantly done with all 70 to 72 parts

No big blocks in any Blazer or Jimmy from the factory. It could have been done though with parts - just not OEM.

Since the Blazer Jimmy was built on a truck platform....all of the truck BB parts would fit right on to the K/5 chassis...If it was done relatively soon after it was bought....all of the parts would have been readily available from a dealer parts dept....

Kind of what I thought. Thanks for the insight. Once I figure out how to post some pics I'll throw some up
