Step side bed dimensions

My truck is at the paint shop and while it’s gone I want to build a peaqued roof for the bed of my truck to go under the cover so that it doesn’t turn into a swimming pool again. What I need is the length of the top from outer edge to outer edge. For the width I need the outside edge of the bed top rail to outside edge. I also need the inside edge of the bed top rail to the inside edge. If this is confusing I will draw a diagram of what I am looking for.

Re: Step side bed dimensions

And to add o/s measures.
80 inch of side rails, 78 1/2 i/s , don't forget about the roll on the bull board. It's about 1 1/2 inches in. 58 1/2 wide on the rails. Not sure I could actually slide a 50 inch piece between the sides. My i/s measure is 48 5/8, so if it is a drop in, leave a bit of room.
