Re: The definitive dash bezel and gauge thread
Here is the one I installed in my truck. I bought it from a board member and it has tach, speed warning and vacuum gauge.

Re: The definitive dash bezel and gauge thread
The 67 clusters only had word wipers as stated earlier, the 68 was wiper washer also trucks that were factory 327 or 396 in 68 got one of three choke deletes, these were not limited to gm metal, they could be a chromed piece that look the the trim rings around the other switches or they could be a grained black in same design but obvious in black rather than chrome. The 283/307 250 and possibly 292 got manual choke with one barrel or two barrel carb respectively, the big option engines got the bimetallic choke and the 4mv carb. Cheyenne dash bezels were black not chromed( all chrome- this is a repo part only) except around edges, supers/ grandes were wood grained as part of ye9 package and the bezel underneath was just like rest- black. Gmc painted bezel to match interior on all models except grande where wood grain superseded it. Trucks with manual choke in 69 and 70 had choke knob on right under wiper, manual throttle knob went on left for those year models. In 71/72 the manual throttle went on passenger side and assembly is different. No manual chokes in either of those years unless added as all truck were upgraded to bimetallic choke.

Re: The definitive dash bezel and gauge thread
Glad this came back up. Love learning about the different ways they came from the factory.

Re: The definitive dash bezel and gauge thread
Since this is the definitive thread here are the guages (base model?) in my 67 Burban. Everything but the tach and air pressure/oil pressure guages are out of a c30 camper with 6800 miles on it. The camper was in a flood in 71 and sat in a barn until 2 years ago when the original owner died. The top set in the last picture is the set that was in my truck when I got it.
