I'm with Mike C. Open it up, it's the best way to tell ratio, plus check out the condition of your gears

Yeah, that's what I'll do, then no more guessing. I'm thinking someone put a posi carrier into a no posi HA xxxx w housing, so who knows what gear they slapped in there.

The only bummer is in reading up on truck 12 bolts; they aren't as bullet proof as the car 12 bolts, in fact some of them seem fragile with some issues as they age.
