un bolt it, maybe jack the frame up to get clearance, don't jack the axle up.

Mine had 1/4 inch 12 point bolts on the transfer case side and are o mutha to unbolt. I used a small box end wrench of good quality and put one of the front hubs in lock position and the other in unlock as well as the case in neutral to move the shaft by hand. Then when you get you bolt exposed, lock the other hub and unbolt, repeat until you cramp up! haha! If I have to do it again I will swap the front flange to a nut and bolt type and never look back. I thought of this right after I sold a t-case with that flange on it. DOH!

Two choices: remove the hump for easy access, or fight with it.
