What's the Best Wax/Sealant on New Paint?

My '70 stepside is coming up on 3 months after a new complete paint. Time for the first wax job!

Would love to hear what wax or sealant y'all are using, so many products out there.

Re: What's the Best Wax/Sealant on New Paint?

My former step-dad made a career in the auto-body business, and he swore by "Pink Stuff" on newer paint jobs. But if memory serves me right, after three months you can use wax, sounds like you're on-board with that.

Perhaps because the wax I was using was cheap, probably Turtle Wax, I haven't used wax on anything in 30 years. Since then I've used nothing but Pro products, and their paint sealant is great stuff. https://cougarchemical.com/products/...xoCNwwQAvD_BwE

I've had very good luck with Meguiars too! They have a lot of products to chose from, but it's not hard figuring out what you need. Good Stuff and affordable!

Re: What's the Best Wax/Sealant on New Paint?

x2 for Zaino.

I use it on everything I own. I was a little concerned at first because it's a bit pricey, but it's amazing. It keeps paint looking new for.... as long as I've been using it. I would definitely use it on my new paint job if I were you considering that paint jobs aren't cheap. It's seriously the best. It keeps the car looking clean for longer and if you're in a rush you can just hose it off and it looks like you just washed it!
