65 c20 longbed

Finally getting my truck into shape. I am looking to replace the bed with a late model Chevy bed, thinking around a 2015 or so. Does anyone know which year bed I should consider, what looks best and what would bolt right in. Thanks

Yep it's a fleetside now, considering the long stepside . But really courios if any one has done this with the long bed. I have seen newer model beds going cheap.

Re: 65 c20 longbed

OK OK - JUST kidding black n blue Welcome to the site my friend and post some pics of your truck when you get a chance. 65 C20s are great and my apparently never-ending search for a 65 C20 Custom Camper continues - a personal favorite Chev. I'm kinda with Clyde on this one - the originals do look best, especially in the 60-66 era because the body lines are so distinctive and they carry through directly from the cab to the bed perfectly. Anyway, perhaps someone has done it and can provide the info you need - but the only ones I've seen were the 88-98 stepside beds on 67-72 swb trucks - and, to me anyway, they seemed very out of place. I think it would be even more the case on a 60-66 body style. Just one person's opinion - all that matters is what you like. Again, welcome and share some pics of your truck when you can!
