Step up Patch
I’m considering purchasing a 71 burb and it has an area of rust on both sides at the step up to the cargo area. Is a patch panel available for this area?

Re: Step up Patch
Not to my knowledge. But either way here is the best thread I have encountered on the subject. For what it's worth if that is the only rust on the Burban I would find it hard to pass it up.

Re: Step up Patch
That’s what I was afraid of. I haven’t seen it in person yet and if it looks like that on both sides I can only imagine how bad it really is.

Re: Step up Patch
You can see in 04ls1gto's thread that his crossmember is rotted away too. In my case the crossmember is pretty solid but rust has gotten between it and the inside sheet metal.
Look in from the wheel well side.
