67 K10 Short Stepside 1 of 1229
This build will be the next one to kick off as soon as the 72 Fixrupr truck is wrapped up. I am getting close so I thought it would be good to start documenting what the plans are and start pulling this project scope together. This truck I found on Craigslist in 2011 on a very early morning in the summer. It has been parked in storage waiting it's turn.
The first picture you see is where it was located when I went out to take a peak. The owner had a few items on the farm that he was selling and trying to cleanup and the truck needed to go. After a few minutes of discussing the truck he said "I just wanted someone to have it instead of going in for scrap metal" I said what kind of price are you looking to get? He said I will load it up and deliver it to you for $300 this afternoon. I smiled and said yes sir! This build will be an attempt to put it back together and get it going down the road the way it was back in the day. It will not be a show truck, but a nice solid truck that someone else can take to the next level if they want that type of a truck.

Re: 67 K10 Short Stepside 1 of 1229
So I started doing a little research on the truck and the model is a 1967 KS10704 as seen on the glove box spid. It is 1 of 1229 made and the paint code is 04523AA which for 1967 was Silver Poly. Another one you don't see very often. The picture of the green C20 will be donating the entire front clip with grill, cowl and bumper which I also have in the back of the bed. The 292 motor will need to be replaced, at this time I have a lead on 3 different 292 motors that are running, if I go that route I will probably do a fresh rebuild that is stock.
I have the following items tucked away that might be used for this build:
