where does the vacuum hose off the heater valve go?

on my dads 71 bb a/c truck i put a new heater hose valve thing on it and im trying to get that vacuum hose to extend out more and i was pulling and it came out from the firewall now what do i do? is this a huge deal to put back in the firewall ? what does it even hook up to in there thanks

the hose u pulled off goes into a tee just behide and above the glovebox. If u lay on your back and look up there u may be able to see it. Or u can remove the glovebox and it will be right there and it will give u a good excuse to replace the glovebox liner
