Truck + Snow pics

When I was a kid, my Dad always explained it to me like this, even though it doesn't make a lot of sense on the face of it. We lived in Saskatchewan, where the cold (-40F) was more of a challenge than the snow (2-3'). But cars would still get stuck or give up mechanically.

Dad: "What do you see stranded on the roadside?"
Me: "cars"
Dad: "And what comes and rescues them?"
Me: "trucks"
Dad: "Then what should you drive in the winter?"

If you've got a cool pic of your truck braving severe winter, please post!

Re: Truck + Snow pics

Not sure that it's all that cool a pic, but I think my truck is cool and it is in the snow, so there you go. Notice that in Texas even though it is snowing, I still have the side windows out.

Re: Truck + Snow pics

Alberta winters are cruel too. Definitely need a 4x4. My C-10 with posi and no weight in the back would have trouble pulling a sick hen off a nest. The other vehicle is even more of a death trap if there is snow on the road. Pics in the snow are controlled photo opportunities only.
