Oh my suburban, under a stock alternator without a problem, I'm running:
All stock electrical H4 headlights(don't dim when bass hits) Electric Vacuum pump for brakes Radar detector(not in the cig. lighter) MP3 player 400watt amp with 2-12's CB Radio PA system Although I could get a larger alternator(180-200amp), which I am cause winch and air compressor are in the works, I'm had no problems, just thought I'd through that out there.

Power dist. block was from MAD electrical.
http://www.madelectrical.com/catalog/cn-1.shtml Hit a junk yard and you'd prob. find something similar. I used 30 amp relay's.I got those from MAD as well. http://www.madelectrical.com/catalog/rly-1.shtml Your local electronic store should have them though. I bought the "New Stuff".It's a package deal MAD sells.I rewired my truck with it.It's an excellant kit for the price. http://www.madelectrical.com/newstuff/
