Can anyone direct me on what I’m missing here under my 86’ c10? This is a TH350, based on the oil pan shape. It’s an automatic. I believe that what I am missing is the dust cover, but I am unsure which particular dust cover works for this transmission shape. If I need better pictures, I can take them. Are there multiple types of dust covers for this transmission? Any assistance or direction is appreciated.

It's a very common cover-usually found in a pile of left-over parts in the corner!

It is made of one piece of stamped sheetmetal and wraps around the whole bottom of the the torque converter assembly.
4 screws hold it to the trans.
The front of the cover is where there's a difference.Some have a small curved opening where it goes around the crank on small block engines.The other is larger for big block engines.
You should be able to find one thru the truck parts suppliers.

yep th350 trans and 4 bolt/screw tin dust cover style .

Looks like it will work.
You might ask them about the 4 screws too,as they are a kind of sheet metal thread and hard to find.

Depends on your flywheel.
Do you have a 153 tooth or 168 tooth flywheel?
