Re: Advise on a 6.0L with 6L80E
I’m not sure this info would be helpful since it’s about my Task Force.
I have an LQ4 and a 4l85e in it. It came out of a 2011 Isuzu N series delivery truck with only 81,000 miles on it. We rebuilt/refreshed both though they didn’t really need it. I used the factory mechanical fan and serpentine system. We had to use the factory 4 speed trans tunnel cover instead of the stock 3 speed cover to allow for the bigger size of the trans. It clears just barely so I am a little concerned about heat transfer through to the cab floor. No cutting on the firewall nor moving the radiator was necessary though we did use a narrower (I think) cross flow radiator instead of the stock one. Pics in my build thread.
