Always figured 1 coil equals 2 inches
2 coils 4 inches. If your only going 4 in the rear I would not cut a coil with your current 2.5 spindle. Or... clip a coil and go down 6 out back. 👀👀

My other 67 short bed frame is only getting the front springs cut 1 coil and I'll be taking the 4" rear springs off this frame to use on the other frame and changing them to 5 " with a 1 inch block on this frame . should be interesting to see the difference between them side by side . ![]()
