hey im sorry man im not going to be able to ship that hood, I have a busted ankle that's pending fusing plating and pinning with about 10,000 screws!, really put a damper in my summer and my hunts this year... if you have someone that can pick it up for you im happy to work with them

Holy shizzle! I would have to ask you - what the pardon me did you do? Oh my garsh! Take it easy there! You don't have to put all your injuries in one basket! I am probably not going to be up in NM ant time soon. Maybe I can come up with something. Anyone on their way through NM to Florida?

aw man just part of getting older. Wife mopped the kitchen floor and I got hungry so I went in and my leg went one way I went the other way and my leg got tangled in the chairs and snapped my fibia and tibia at the ankle. so now im on desk duty buit I still play in my garage

jjzepplin, I have a 67 GMC hood that is in really good condition other than surface rust. Won't be able to get to it to get some pics till early next week. Have company coming in this weekend. Will get them posted as soon as I do.

By the way, michael, I know how it feels. I have a plate and two screws on the outside of my rt. ankle when I dislocated it 15 years ago. Hope all goes well.

Now I am getting some traction! Send pics asap! Thanks for looking. I may pick up a couple of these as I would like to experiment with the rusty one and try to make something like That nice carbon fiber one with vents in the front. I have a scrappable 69-72 type hood with rusty supports to get good metal from. OHHH I cannot wait to build my little shed/shop to get my mid life crisis in full bloom.

I've got a hood off a 68 from West Texas (now in Green Bay, WI.) Zero rust or dents. Has a 55 or 56 Chevy hood ornament that was wired to red lights in the back of it. I can get pics if interested in paying for shipping.

I'm sorry JJZipplen, The hood and fenders sold. The gentleman that expressed interest in spring contacted me and paid for the parts. He's due to pick them up in a couple weeks.

Well I ended up picking up a free hood Thanks to Mike Bigelow! It has a fair amount of dents and some rust on the front edge but the price was fantastic and I needed a good road trip. I may try to fix this one and possibly install some venting where the rust is something like the carbon fiber No Limit style. Heck I can't hurt it any. I can at least get to work on the front end and it will keep the rain out of my very rare Corvette 307! I am still looking for a nice hood but shipping seems to be the killer. I drove 4 hours total for this one so it was not exactly free but I am grateful none the less and I met a great guy with some really cool ideas and one killer shop!

Thank you. I wish I would have seen that one before I drove the 2 hours to right around the corner from that one (literally down the block) and picked up one for free that has some rust on the front. I could use that one to replace the rust I guess. Just another long aff trip.
