carb size

Do you think a holley 600 cfm is big enough for a stock 350 with headers and intake?

With a mild cam that carb will work well, give you good everyday driveability, etc. With a little more than stock cam it would need rejetting, etc. most likely. I have a 750 because I have a ZZ430 with pretty agressive cam.

It is not so much the Holley size, meaning a 600 or 650, but how it is set up. You can make a 600 out perform a 650 or 750 that is not set up correctly for a specific engine combination.

That's the same carb I'm running right now on my Blazer. It works fine for me as a daily driver and still has enough to make the drive fun.

I'm running it on a 355 with vortec heads, Air-gap intake, headers and Comp 262 cam.

If I were to change carbs right now it would probably be to the Road Demon Jr. 725.

Why a road deamon jr and not the road deamon?

Also where on the carb can I confirm the part number?

mainly price....I can get a 725 Jr. for around $275 with vac secondaries and elec choke

The same thing in a Demon 750 would run close to $400

It's my daily so I want to keep it somewhat practical....

I understand I was thinking about a road demon but think it my be more than I need. But the jr is nice do those deamons use springs also for the secondaries? And do you know how the accelerator pump works?
Also what do you think the differences are between the jr and the road deamon. As far as performance?
