1968 C10 Project Patty
Gonna try to keep this thread updated with pics and info as I go along (it may take awhile).
Bought this truck in March 2018 on St. Patricks Day. Hence the name "Patty". She had been sitting since 2011. Brought her home on a rollback and began trying to bring her back to life. I was able to get the old 250 I6 running with just a little fuel and cleaning the cap, rotor and points. She needs quite a bit of work to get her back on the road but I'll get her there. Not having a garage to work in hinders my schedule a little. 1968 Short Stepside 250 inline 6 3 speed on the tree SPID Options: HD Rear Springs Green Vinyl Trim Dark Green Paint Painted Rear Bumper Day she was brought home .. Stripping her down a little .... Decided to try some Corroseal and spray paint on the rear frame... Also snagged up a donor for future plans.. More to Come.... |

Re: 1968 C10 Project Patty
Maybe that BIG wasp nest kept the base of the windshield from rusting.... looks real solid around the drip strip too... GOOD FOR YOU! How many miles on your donor LS? Look forward to watching your progress. I like step sides too. Bought the '67 with grand resto intentions & never got around to it. Made a little money on it and bought the GMC pretty much as is. Been enjoying it for 5yrs. Really like the slant nose '67-'68, but I can live with the shiny front on the '71 GMC.
