That's really cool to see. I can imagine it was not easy getting to where that truck is with the upgrades from so so far away from the source of parts. What would those Euros convert to in US dollars?

Re: Look what I found in thailand

The Red 55 chevy truck is in Bangkok and that belongs to Dean AKA Bangkok Dean . When I am over visiting relatives I am always on the hunt for old iron. The sad part is that most of it has been crushed and sold for scrap .
There are a few american vehicles in my mother in laws town. A 1964 short bed step side chevy truck , 1968 Mustang and a 1949 Dodge truck. All are daily drivers.

Re: Look what I found in thailand

Yes it's left hand drive. And the Thai guy uses it every day about 2 miles to work he owns a hostel and bar. He gives thumbs up to everyone in the village whilst driving as he gets lots of attention. I think he got his new crate motor from jegs as he had the stickers under the bonnet

Yes it's very difficult and remote. First air mail would have to get to Bangkok airport then by car to dong muang airport ( which is also in Bangkok) then flown to crabi airport then ferry to this little island of coh lanta. If it was jegs that's a deffinate well done for them
