Please help me find my paint code

Heres a shot of my truck and the service parts ID sticker on the glove box lid. Everything I read says the code should be here but I'm having problems finding the code that correspondens to the paint. Thanks everyone.

Do a search on here for “572 white dark blue”

Beautiful truck!

Re: Please help me find my paint code

Your code for just the dark blue is 523 I believe. Also called Mariner Blue in the 72 brochure.

When coupled with a white roof (conventional two tone) its code 572.

When painted white/blue/white/blue (deluxe two tone) t is a different code, not sure of that number.

Re: Please help me find my paint code

Z53 is the code for the gauges, and if you look right below those three codes you will see 572 which is the color code for your truck.

Re: Please help me find my paint code

Larry nailed it.
572 = conventional two tone (white top only) for 521 white top ("frost white" secondary color) / 523 dark blue body ("mariner blue" primary color).
You can ignore the 1 and 20 that sandwich the 572.
(482 is the Deluxe Two Tone version of the two colors)

Re: Please help me find my paint code

Awesome! So 572 color code. Mariner blue (dark blue) and frost white. Some young kid hit me in a parking lot. Backed right out his parking space at "punch it" speed without ever looking behind him. Nailed me. Then gave me an insurance card that said it was current but when I called them they said he never paid his full premium and he didnt have insurance. I called him and confronted him about it and he apologized and promised to pay for the damages, in our conversation and in text messages. Then he changed phone numbers and I havent heard from him since. Cant even take him to small claims court because I cant find him to get his address to have him served. What a nightmare its been. Guess I'm stuck paying for his negligence hence the need for the paint code.
Thanks guys you've been a big help.

Cool Re: Please help me find my paint code

He no longer lives at the address his insurance company had. I did get his license plate number though. I found a Facebook page for him just recently but hes not on there much. Ive found 3 different towns hes said he lives in from social media. A friend of mine thinks his friend may know him or knows of him and I think I know what town hes living in now. I even drove around the town a while (small town) looking for his car but never saw it. I'm still on the hunt for him but getting really tired of my truck looking the way it does and am ready to fix it temporarily until this thing gets resolved or I end up giving up on finding him. Thing is I have to pay the sheriff a fee to serve him and if it's the wrong address and they have to go again, it's another fee. New fee everytime I'm wrong. Then even if I win a judgement, there's no guarantee that I'll ever see my money since he already told me hedoesnt have a job. It's too bad that I do the right things like pay for insurance and he doesnt and gets away scott free. I called the police that night to get everything documented and they wouldn't help me at all saying...."sorry but it happened on private property and theres nothing we can do" Wouldnt take a statement from me, write up a report....nothing.

"sorry but it happened on private property and theres nothing we can do" Wouldnt take a statement from me, write up a report....nothing.[/QUOTE]

This happened to my brother in a grocery store parking lot as well... He had the police come, and they also wouldn't write an accident report, said since it was on private property there was nothing they could do...

Now my brother is somewhat like me (must be genetic)... He asked the officer, "So then, if I drive my car down this row and hit every vehicle here, and drive off, there is nothing you can do about it?" The officer told him not to do it. He asked the question again, and the officer got right in his face and told him not to do it... He then asked the officer if he was threatening him?? And the officer simply got in his car and drove away... (this was in the state of Arkansas, by the way).

Ultimately, he never got anything and had to fix his own car.

Isn't Kansas a no-fault state? Your insurance will likely have to fix it anyway?? Not sure how no-fault states work, I live in TN...

Re: Please help me find my paint code

Correct, Kansas is a no fault state. I talked to my insurance company about it and no dice. Apparently the uninsured motorist coverage I had at the time, only covered injuries, not collision damage. Ive since changed that and am now covered for injuries and damage by an uninsured driver if it ever happens again.
