I have a SWB that has been blasted and painted, and a LWB that was parted out and is laying out in the pasture.

Re: WTB-WTT SWB or LWB frame

Does it really matter if you only want the bare frame? I think the gmc frames are leaf springs but the cross member where the trailing arms attach is there. I have one that I listed here. Lwb was a 1971 gmc. If that doesn’t work for you someone selling one in the Bay Area that was shortened on Craigslist

Thanks for the post. The reason I asked is if I have to,drive then I want it to be what I am looking for.
You have a 71 gmc leaf spring frame for sale? Pictures and price?

Yes mine is a 71 longbed frame that I picked up for the 5 lug stuff. I want $100 for what’s remaining. There is a post here for it with pictures just don’t know how to find it. But if you’re interested on it, I’ll text some pictures to you later.

Re: WTB-WTT SWB or LWB frame

How nice and what exactly are you looking for? I have a 69 SWB trailing arm frame and arms that has been racked (perfectly straight), blasted, powder coated in gloss black, and is the foundation for a show quality ground up build. If you want all of your body panels and bumpers to line up on a 50 year old truck, this is what you start with. I’m in Riverside, about 300 miles south of you if you are interested. It won’t be cheap, but just throwing it out there if that is the path you are heading down.

Re: WTB-WTT SWB or LWB frame

Thank you for the post. I am not sure it needs to be show quality. I hate to ask but what does something like run?
