How can you figure this out??
Is there any way of telling how many trucks came with certain options??
EX: how many trucks in 1970 came with buckets and console? or how many trucks came with certain combinations of options?? Thanks Rick

The General unfortunately didn't keep anything but total production numbers for each class. Wish they did...I want to know how many of the 1542 C-30 with 9 foot step beds were optioned just like mine (I bet less than 10).

I'm not sure which book it is, but there is a book out there with ball park figures on each option.
I think when you start getting into the lower production numbered trucks, like that 9 foot step, or even my higher production numbered one ton, they were almost one of one... Example, out of the 1404 '70 Longhorns...how many had a bed side storage box, cruise control, and overload springs? |

The same book that show production numbers also shows avaible options, and the percentage of trucks that had that option.
