a guy i know has these for sale and im thinking about buying them but have no idea if its a good deal...

american racing torque thrusts 18x8 and 18x10...5.9 and 5.75 spacing
with 245.40 zr18 70% left and 295 45 zr18 with 2k miles on em.

he was asking 1800 but said he would let em go for 1400...so is this a good deal? thanks for any info

Absolutely! The tires alone are probably worth that! They're (I'm guessing-not knowing what kind of tires they are) easily worth $2500+ new.

the only thing I would be worried about is the lug pattern, if your truck is a 6 bolt, they wont fit, bit if it is a 5 bolt, gotta make sure they are for chevy truck and not dodge or some fords

the truck i want to put them on is 5 lug...72 burb half ton
he already had them on his 72 long bed and i thought they looked
pretty good. the tires are yokohama and nito. he has given his truck a mini tub job in back and bagged it. now hes going to 20's. thats why he is letting them go.

I think the back spacing is an issue, See if he will let you bolt them on to see how they will work.

When you sintall them, you need to load the truck down pretty good and double check the clearance. Even if you don't haul anything in your rig, the load will represent the rear aquatting when you launch or the cycling of the rear axle in bumps.
If all looks good, I would drive it around town, take some on/off ramps at good speed and then look at the inside of the wheel tobs for shiney metal...where the tire rubbed.
