Has anyone done this . I assume the parts for a dually 1 ton are different than single wheel due to the difference in the offset of the dually rim.

I'VE PULLED A COMPLETE FRONT END OUT OF AN 82 1 TON TRUCK , & I'VE YET TO INSTALL IT IN MY 69 1 TON TOWTRUCK. I PLAN ON PUTTING IT UNDER IT SOMETIME THIS SUMMER.

Lets us know how it goes there junkyardjohn, I got a 1979 one ton for parts if I need it... I spotted what looks to be a 68-69 in a field today....its got me interested too. But I prefer disc...actually I've never had a dually with drums yet but I sure like how my 72 stops with all the weight it pulls around. So Im interested in the swap also.

I think the only thing you need are what some call the buds or the part that goes onto the rotor/drum to extend the rim away from the rotor so it sits back

3/4 ton disc spindles are identical and have the same part number as 1 ton disc spindles. Unsure about tierod ends. If you already have disc brakes on a 3/4 ton or a 1 ton srw, the ONE-PIECE duallie rotor/hub will bolt on and use your original caliper.

I do have a pair of duallie rotors that I don't need anymore. Shippimg from Alaska is usually prohibitive, however.
