Post Removing door sash,changing them................

Hello. I read a topic last week on here about changing the door sash. Such as the need to convert a truck door to a suburban door. Someone.......I dont know who,,said it was easy. Doesnt matter who said it anyway. But i will asssure you it is NOT that easy. I am converting truck doors to burb doors right now. There are at least 5 spot welds on the back of the door that need drilled out. And a bolt,or screw to remove. And on the front there 4 spot welds and a tac weld on the outside. And then you might have to fight 30 year old rust problems.
I will try to let you know how it goes from here. I am sure i am not the only one who will have the need to do this.

Drove by your place yesterday. Nice collection you've got coming along. Some new stuff since the last time I was by...

Saw a real nice '68 for sale at a radiator shop (one of the county comissioners businesses I am told) in Urbana.

Good luck with the door swap but I have to know...why put burb doors on the truck? Is this the crew cab project your were dreaming about? See ya, Brian.

Ah, did you see my 70 panel sticking out of the garage? The panels have burb style doors. Square at the edges. I bought some sweet doors the other day and i want to put them on the panel. But have to change the sash.
That truck at the radiator shop you looked at is decent. But they want $5000 for it. And they wanted me to sell it for them. NOT They got mad when i told them it isnt worth it. But thats what they have invested. And that is also why it has been for sale for 3 years. Anything at my place you want? Let me know. I might give it to you.
