The Hyundai motor is rated 92bhp, what was the old 6 shooter rated? 110? And after all they are reliable engines and all you need is proper gearing?

get some 5.11 gears and a 700r4 and a gear vendors overdrive and that thing would be pretty quick.. haha

some things just shouldnt be thought of. and this is one of them. if anything you could swap a honda s200 2.0 VTEC motor with the 5 speed it comes with. that is already set up for rear wheel drive.

Actually if you were thinking FWD whynot the the GM 3800 with the Superchager.

the Hyundai motor is rated at 93bhp,,, yes, but at what RPM?.. Willing to bet the old "6 shooter"rated HP was for much less RPM than the Hyandai....Many of the newer smaller engines even idle at twice the RPM of the old 6's and 8's.
