? about tac for those that have used Painless wiring
I have the Painless wiring kit and have a question about the Tac hookup. The kit has the purple wire for the tac.....what goes on the other spad. I guess anybody can answer this really?

The back of the dash is marked for the two wire hookups. One is "12 volts",
which goes to "unfused" ignition, but a fuse is a good idea. The other is marked "coil". The factory harness used a pink wire for the 12 volts and a brown wire for the negative side of the coil, (points style distributor). If you have HEI or other, then the hookup would be to the terminal marked "Tach" on the distributor. Jim |
