Question for SCOTI

You said your runing 20x10 rears with 295's. My question is how much you have to widen the tubs on your truck? You said yours is a fleetside truck right?

They are 20" wide from the inside bed wall to the edge of tub, 21" including the mounting flange where they bolt to bed floor, & yes it is a wide bed w/steel floor on the 67. They are overkill for 10" wide wheels but I use to have 15x14 steelies w/31x18.5 Mickey T's tucked up in there & since the truck sits so low, plans call for running the exhaust along the outside the frame rail & dump @ an angle right behind the rear tires. To fit them on the 68 I would just need to widen the factory tubs about 2" since the 4" backspace wheels currently on the truck don't rub the stock size tubs now. Since I only mounted them on the 68 for the '01 power tour, I just yanked the wheeltubs out for the week.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
