DBW Gas Pedal Adpater bracket for truck/suv pedal

I finally opened the box and the bracket looks great. I do have a couple of questions. When I mount the bracket to the stock 3 holes, it shifts the DBW pedal to the left too much. Both of the holes on the left side are beyond the rib on the firewall where you are supposed to install the tek screws. The top bolt on the pedal is also blocked by the rib on the firewall. I supposed I could use a tek screw in the top hole of the pedal assembly into the rib behind.

What am I doing wrong here?

I apologize for not seeing this sooner, but I started a new job at the end of the year and have been swamped. Did you figure this out? I haven't had anyone say anything about a problem like this. Please let me know.
