slow progress
I have been wanting to add a little update on my truck but havent had much luck getting anything done lately. My truck started out life as an '84 GMC long fleet & Im in the process of making it into a short stepper. Ive added some lowering parts that have all come from this board. Also its a good time to thank you all for answering my stupid questions along the way! Im sure Ill have a BUNCH more as I go. Heres a pic of it so far, sorry I need to push it outside one of these days & get a better pic of it. Its sure looks cool in my head though. ...corn

It sure was in need of a face lift! (Old pic of it)
It will be flat black & build to drive! Its lowered 5-7. I need a new engine. I cant wait to get one in it because even lowered, the front end sits a mile in the air...corn Last edited by corn; 09-16-2007 at 06:29 PM. |

Hey Corn:
Send me an email about where you are. My wife will be in Iowa City next weekend. If that is anywhere near where you are, maybe she can just give you the speaker brackets in person. Slonaker |

Looks like you're off to a good start. I'd love to do a frame off someday....actually, I'd just love to have a garage Be sure to post pics of your progress!
What's the story on the bike? Looks pretty nice from what I can see. I watch Orange County Choppers on discovery whenever I get the chance...I'm getting kinda fond of the Choppers and am seeing more and more of them around. I have a little crush on Paul Jr...just don't tell my husband...
