kick panel vent pins and springs
I am trying to knock a few more items off of the punch list with the 72 Fixrupr build. I tore down the fresh air vents a few years ago and sand blasted, painted and replaced worn out foam inserts. I misplaced the pins and springs that help hold them in the kick panels. Is there any place out there that sells them? I have looked and just not able to find them. First image is what I am looking for. Second are mine ready to go back together.

Re: kick panel vent pins and springs
Never mind I found a way to make it work with long screw, cut the head off and threading it up and down raise and lowers so you can remove or install. After the final assembly I will post a picture so if anyone else gets into need for the same.

Re: kick panel vent pins and springs
Junkyards would be my suggestion but it sounds like you figured it out.
You may could use a couple of old ink pen springs and some small rods to.

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs. |
