A much better video is "twin stick pappy." That guy can move through the gears. Most of the time he floats them but he does clutch 4-5 on the front box. Personally I float them myself.

Brownies were common in the early days or on light applications. Spicer took over a long time ago and is still making them for rigs. My 51 Mack has a factory spicer aux box. I am pretty sure that the truck shown above is actually a Mack transmission that is married together from the factory called a quadraplex. Some where 13spds and others were 18spds depending on the setup.
