Gage cluster lens seal
I am in the process of reassembling my gauge cluster. In my new parts I have a seal that goes between the lens and a gauge. I am guessing it’s for the speedo gauge , which also help get it snug to the mounting tin.
Or is there some where else it goes ? |

I know of any gauge cluster for 67-72 that has a seal none.
The lens have the little sponge pieces about a inch long that should go around all the plastic in spots though. Are you talking about item #10? If so you cut it to fit in the slots in the plastic face on the inside where the lens will lay. If you lay the cluster face down you will see small slots around the outside of the gauges this is where the pieces go. Cut it to fit each one. ![]() ![]()
