Re: Adapting 2008+ GM SUV Seats to Blazer
Those are real nice Firebird. I am up for a road trip anytime when comes to hunting down parts for my Blazer. Thanks for the advise.

Re: Adapting 2008+ GM SUV Seats to Blazer
Would love to use these. Too bad they don't have an integrated seatbelt. I'd rather have a shoulder belt.

Re: Adapting 2008+ GM SUV Seats to Blazer
They have little pockets in the seats to pull the belts up through, kind of nice actually as it keeps the belts from falling between the seats (rather annoying I might say)
I don't care for the shoulder belt idea as it would hinder people getting into the back seat area, so no worries there for me. |

Re: Adapting 2008+ GM SUV Seats to Blazer
I really like them, so not complaints. The only downside is I didn't put sliders on the LH side, but I'm tall enough that I'd have the seat all the way back anyway.
And you want to make sure that you've reinforced under the floor where all your bolting points are. |

Re: Adapting 2008+ GM SUV Seats to Blazer
29od1 , thanks for this. I just got my seats to do exactly what you did to thr 1969 blazer I'm in the process of redoing. I was wondering what you did for front seat belts ? Did you manage to use the front (2nd row) integrated latches or did or did you end up using a factory style lap belt?
Installation starting in the next few days as work allows Thanks Mike |

Re: Adapting 2008+ GM SUV Seats to Blazer
I ended up buying a 3 pt retractable shoulder harness and mounted the shoulder side to the roll bar and had an upholstery shop sew a male part on the harness so I could use the integrated female side that's already on the 2nd row factory seats.

Trying to do similar install but working on trying to figure out wiring for power fold and tumble and possible heated seats. If you or anyone has any knowledge on doing so please let me know. Re: Adapting 2008+ GM SUV Seats to Blazer
Question on the 3rd row seats, what size rod do you use for the seats to clip onto? Is it 3/8" or 1/2"? Thanks
