thought i'd see if there was any interest here before i part it out and put it on ebay. it's out of a mid 70s 3/4 ton, disc brakes, open differential, complete except for the lockouts. it's a big hub version with big diameter axle shafts.$300.00 complete, local pick up only will not ship. if you don't like my price, i'm open to reasonable offers.

Jerry, are those aftermarket "large" axle shafts ?

they're the stock 73 on up shafts, the inner halves are quite a bit larger than the 71-72 versions.

Jerry,would the width be close to my 71K20's D44. I'm sure mounting would not be a problem with leaf springs,just wondering about rotor to rotor distance. Might even be the same. I was planning on lifting mine 4 inches. A
beefier D44 at the same time would be even better. I believe your D44 also has the stronger U-joint too.

it's a direct bolt in for your truck, i run later axles under my own trucks. the later version is also much easier to buy replacement parts for.
