What years beyond 1972 will a bench seat fit properly for my 68 ?

I have a square body seat in mine. 73-80 something. PO had put it in. The difference is the sides of seat bottom kick out a little, but if it weren't for that I dont think you would know it wasn't original. I didn't until I looked at another truck and tried getting a seat cover.

The 73 up seat need to use the original brakets. The ones on the 73 + sit way to low. 88-98 bench seats fit realy whell. No need to do any modifications just drill some holes in the floor.
