Different Cowl Markings
I was looking through some pictures for some reassembly and noticed these markings, no grease pencil letters or numbers like normal but I think the word (white) was written there at the time of red primer and has a stamped 3 digit number on the upper edge or the cowl. That number 675 is on the transfer case and the gas tank. Has anyone saw this type before.

Re: Different Cowl Markings
675 looks like the last three digits of the build sequence number to me (like "123675", or whatever). I have seen that before.
"White" would be a heads up to the painter so that he would know what color was coming up next. Re: Different Cowl Markings
Thanks guys, Keith interesting stuff on markings, mine must be a sequence number no vin or order number match.
jaros44sr. for our trucks, maybe they ran out of grease pencils.
