Re: Panel/Suburban AC systems
If you like the old school look that style of AC will cool anything you put it in. I moved one around among three different rigs when I was young and broke. Not vintage air as it was the original aftermarket unit but it kept my cars cool and froze us out of our 59 Elcamino. It went with the Elkie when I traded it in.

Re: Panel/Suburban AC systems
I have used a few of them, Even moved a few into a couple of combine units we ran on the farm. They run forever and cool very well. You cant go wrong if you opt to use one.
I no longer run one so I dont have a photo for ya. I'll find one.

Re: Panel/Suburban AC systems
So sounds like you guys feel that the MARK IV underdash - or similar unit - would have enough cooling power to be comfortable in a Panel ?
I dont mind the look personally
