Re: 1947-1980 Billet Hood Hinges - ON SALE NOW!

Matt,

I bought a set of EMS hinges for my 71 C10 about four years ago. They have been on the truck for just about three years now and the gas struts aren't holding the hood open more than a few inches, as of about two months ago. I have the heavier duty struts on there because my aftermarket cowl induction hood was too heavy for the struts supplied with the hinges. Is there something I can do so I don't have to replace these every few years? Maybe the heavier duty struts weren't heavy duty enough? I'm not sure. Either way, can you get me a quote for a new set of hinge struts?
