AL Factory 402 BB Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I used to have a 402 powered 70 CST and I bought this shield and paid a war pension for it because of its unusually perfect condition. These are most of the time chiseled around the edges, thin, chipped, rusted into, and a million other ailments preventing anyone from restoring one to "show" condition. This one I have however, is VERY unusually solid, not thinned from heat, and not degraded or chiseled around any important edges and could easily be high temp painted or better, ceramic coated, and used for show. So, hey, I may have been a DA for paying so much, but when only the absolute finest part will do, sometimes you have to do it. Selling for what I gave - $300 shipped anywhere in the lower 48. Inquire for shipping to HI, AK, Canada etc

Might trade this for NOS stuff I can use on my 72 Blazer like a NOS cigar lighter or trim pieces, NOS Blue or Yellow bowtie chrome dog dish caps etc

I just sort of buzzed lightly over the whole thing with a drill mounted wire wheel so you could see detail of how nice it is

I could really use one and would Love to have it just too pricey for me right now. Hard to find piece
