fender emblem mounting without removing the fender

I've got some C10 emblems to mount and honestly, I'm too lazy to remove the fenders just to install them. I don't really want to use emblem tape, and have ordered 2 different size barrel clips, one for a 7/32 hole, which my 7/32 drill bit fit in the existing hole perfect, and so does the emblem, but those clips are too big. Then I ordered 3/16 barrel clips and they fall through the hole. I can't find anything local, so I've been ordering off of Amazon, and it's not worth sending them back even though I"ll never use what I have. (they were only $10 each order). Can anyone help with something they know works, or if someone has some clips they've successfully used, I'd gladly pay you for some.

tried my local Napa, and they didn't have anything, and they're usually really good. You wouldn't happen to have a part number would you?

You can get to the backside by pulling out the inner fender/wheel well. Take tire off and remove 10 ish bolts then the wheel well drops out. No need to mess with taking whole fender off.

I can't put my hands on my extras right now but LocDoc has a good post on this install in the advance search option. Your Napa part # 665-1457 are the ones you want. Cheap to !
